Max William R. Pirkis (born 6 January 1989) is an English film actor.

Pirkis was born in London, England to a stockbroker father and a publisher mother. He also has an older sister, Elli Pirkis.
Having been educated at Eton College, Pirkis now attends St Catharine's College, Cambridge, where he reads Theology. He is also captain of the college's football team (2009–10).
He started his acting in school plays, none of which were at Eton College, and was cast as the 13-year-old, eventually one-armed Midshipman Lord Blakeney in the successful 2003 film, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. Most recently, Pirkis played Gaius Octavian (later to become Caesar Augustus) in the BBC/HBO television series Rome.
